| Resumo: | O artigo discute, historicamente, os resultados do Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e seus indicadores desde o estabelecimento das metas do índice, em 2007, até o último resultado divulgado, em 2019, para a Rede Municipal de Ensino de Goiânia. É também apresentado, historicamente, os resultados das proficiências médias alcançadas por componente curricular – Língua Portuguesa e Matemática. Todos os resultados apresentados referem-se ao 5° ano do ensino fundamental. Os dados utilizados encontram-se no banco de dados do Inep e são de livre acesso para qualquer pessoa interessada. O artigo será apresentado utilizando como metodologia a análise de dados secundários, ou seja, dados que já foram pesquisados e divulgados. Objetiva-se, com esse trabalho, analisar as variações do Ideb, seus indicadores e as proficiências por componente curricular e apresentar as conclusões derivadas desse estudo em relação à qualidade do ensino público do município de Goiânia e as oportunidades educacionais. É também apresentado, resumidamente, ao final do artigo sugestões de ações que podem ser traçadas para se melhorar a qualidade e equidade da educação nas escolas municipais de Goiânia. Tal estudo pode produzir, a curto e médio prazo, resultados positivos a partir dos dados, análises e conclusões divulgados. |
| Abstract: | The article discusses the results of the Basic Education Development Index and its indicators from the establishment of the index’s goals in 2007 until the last released results in 2019, for the Municipal Education Network of Goiânia. Historically, the results of the average proficiencies achieved by subject are also presented - Portuguese and Mathematics. All of the results presented refer to the 5th year of elementary education. The data used can be found in the Inep database and is freely accessible to anyone interested. The article will be presented using the secondary data analysis method, that is, data that has already been researched and disseminated. The objective of this work is to analyze the variations of Ideb, its indicators and the proficiencies by subject and to present the conclusions derived from this study in relation to the quality of public teaching in the municipality and educational opportunities. Also presented, briefly, at the end of the article are suggestions for actions that can be outlined to improve the quality and equity of education in the municipal schools of Goiânia. Such a study can produce in the short and medium term, positive results from the data, analysis and conclusions published. |
