Atuação do Sintsprev-MG frente aos direitos dos assistentes sociais do INSS

Abstract

This dissertation has as its object the working relationship of social workers with their employer Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social - INSS and the political response of Sintsprev-MG Regional Zona da Mata, in the perspective of their class insertion, in this relationship. To this end, it recovers the trajectory of societal transformations and in the world of work, under the aegis of neoliberalism, which have occurred since 1970 in the international field with significant impacts in Brazil, which started to be directed by international organizations, highlighting the International Monetary Fund - IMF, taking on devastating features such as the privatization of profitable state-owned companies, a defamatory campaign against the service and the public servant, and the retreat of the role of the State in relation to services offered to the population, assuming the role of the Minimum State. Analysis of the State's counter-reforms, highlighting that of Social Security, as it is the policy that aggregates the INSS and its workers. Decipher the relationship between social workers and the INSS in the field that circumscribes professional intervention and then the relationship established with the union, in the perspective of political-union responses to the demands presented by professionals in the performance of their activities. It portrays the political organization of unions in Brazil, with emphasis on the reflection of the union of social workers. A survey with social workers from INSS, from Zona da Mata Mineira was carried out through semi-structured interviews applied to 05 professionals who sought interaction around theory and practice, causing a critical view of the totality, in addition to apprehending the constitutive dimensions of the three subjects that interrelate in the professional and political exercise.
