As dimensões do trabalho docente na perspectiva dos estudantes egressos do Pibid – Letras/Língua Portuguesa

Abstract

This dissertation has as general objective to investigate if the work dimensions are present in the teaching work of the supervisor of Pibid and the students egresses of Pibid of the graduation of Letters/Licentiature in the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), considering the work of the supervisor professor of Pibid and his own work - of the student - in this process of formation. Therefor, the present research has as a question of investigation: Which are the dimensions of the work present in the teaching work of the supervisor of Pibid and the students egresses of Pibid of the course of Letters/Licenciatura of UFJF, considering the work of the supervisor teacher of Pibid and her own work - of the student of Letters - in this process of formation? For this, we outlined some specific objectives, namely, i) to investigate whether the work dimensions proposed by Machado (2007) are contemplated in the teaching work of the Pibid supervisor - Carolina; ii) to analyze whether these same dimensions are also present in the teaching work experienced by Pibid egress students; iii) and to point out the approximations and distances between the work dimensions present in the activity of the supervisor teacher and the Pibidian students. To support the research, we use theoretical-methodological contributions of Sociodiscursive Interactionism - ISD - (BRONCKART, 1999, 2008, 2006; MACHADO, 2009, 2004, 2007), assuming language as the central activity of human development, since it is through it that we interact socially through the discourses we produce. The data taken for analysis emerges from interviews conducted with students and graduates of Pibid - Língua Portuguesa. To analyze the data generated, we used two categories of segments resulting from the distribution of speech shifts, Thematic Orientation Segments (SOT) and Thematic Treatment Segments (STT), as proposed by Bronckart (2008) and Bulea (2010). The data analyzed reveal that the work dimensions are significantly present in the teaching work of the Pibid supervisory teacher. Regarding the teaching work developed by the students, we observed that these dimensions are also present, but little presented, because these students are still in the process of training. When comparing the data generated - dimensions present in the teaching work of the teacher supervisor and the dimensions present in the teaching work of the student pibidiano -, we identified that there are approximations between some dimensions, but we consider two that have more revealed, the interactional dimension and the situated dimension. With regard to distancing, we found that the dimensions mediated by material or symbolic and conflicting instruments were the ones that were most divergent.
