K-pop, cultura coreana e moda juvenil: catálogo de inspiração de looks

Abstract

This paper aims to present the association between youth culture, fashion and Kpop, which is seen as a teenage subculture. To this end, authors were studied who talk about the history of Kpop, its construction and evolution, as well as elements of the Korean Wave and its expansion around the world. Popular music plays an important role in youth culture, influencing the way young people dress and behave, as well as carrying signs that identify and/or separate them between the subculture in which they are inserted and other groups. As there are not many bibliographic materials that deal specifically with fashion in Kpop, this paper proposes to bring a study that provides knowledge about this universe and better understand clothing as a tool of paramount importance in the construction of identity. At the end of the research an editorial was made for an online catalog that brings information about this musical style and presents a fashion experience inspired by Kpop, demonstrating how the style can be present in people's lives at different times.
