| Resumo: | A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo principal analisar como o tecido da chita é utilizado na moda brasileira contemporânea. Para tal análise foi preciso estudar a história da chita até a sua chegada ao Brasil, em seguida analisar a moda brasileira e o uso do tecido da chita no país. Foi feito um estudo de coleções recentes de estilistas e marcas que fizeram ou ainda fazem peças com o tecido da chita ou inspiração na estampa do mesmo. As marcas escolhidas são: Farm, Iódice e Saia de chita. Os estilistas foram: Lenny Niemayer e João Pimenta. Através dessa pesquisa é possível identificar como o tecido da chita, muitas vezes desvalorizado por sua associação às manifestações de culturas populares brasileiras é muitas vezes reinterpretado, servindo mais como inspiração, do que material para a produção de peças, quando de sua inserçãona moda brasileira. |
| Abstract: | The present research has as main objective to analyze how the fabric of the chita is used in contemporary Brazilian fashion. For this analysis it was necessary to study the history of the chita until its arrival in Brazil, then to analyze the Brazilian fashion and the use of the fabric of the chita in the country. A study has been made of recent collections of stylists and brands who have made or even made pieces with chita fabric or inspiration in the print of it. The brands chosen are: Farm, Iódice and Chita skirt. The stylists were: Lenny Niemayer and João Pimenta. Through this research it is possible to identify how chita fabric, often devalued by its association with the manifestations of popular Brazilian cultures, is often reinterpreted, serving more as inspiration than material for the production of pieces, when its insertion into Brazilian fashion. |
