| Resumo: | A presente pesquisa teve como objetivoinvestigar os indivíduos que exerceram o cargo de juiz ordinário no termo de Vila do Carmo/Mariana setecentista de 1711 a 1731. O cargo de juiz ordinário era camarário, relacionado com a execução da justiça em primeira instância e de grande responsabilidade no Império Português. O propósito desse trabalho foi traçar o perfil desses oficiais, analisar suas funções e parte de suas atuações na região. Paralelamente, foi essencial compreender a institucionalização das regiões mineradoras, o funcionamento da justiça local e enquadrá-la dentro do Direito Português. |
| Abstract: | This research aimed to investigate individuals who exercised the office of judge ordinary in Vila do Carmo / Mariana eighteenth-century from 1711 to 1731. The office of judgeordinary was city council, concerning the implementation of justice in the first instance and of great responsibility in the Portuguese Empire. The purpose of this study was to establish the profile of these officers, analyze their functions and part of his performances in the region. At the same time, it was essential to understand the institutionalization of mining regions, the functioning of local justice and fit it within the Portuguese law. |
