| Resumo: | Este projeto tem por objetivo pesquisar a conversão de médiuns negros umbandistas e candomblecistas à denominação evangélica à Igreja Preparatória Neopentecostal em Juiz de Fora durante o ano de 2017 baseado nas teorias sócio antropológicas sobre a conversão focalizando os mecanismos de atração nas igrejas evangélicas e expulsão das religiões afro-brasileiras, e as reinterpretações que os convertidos realizam de suas antigas práticas e da tradição cultural herdada que é parte da sua identidade social e étnica. |
| Resumen : | This project aims to investigate the conversion of black Umbandist and candomblecist mediums to the evangelical denomination to the Neopentecostal Preparatory Church in Juiz de Fora during the year 2017 based on socio-anthropological theories on conversion focusing on the mechanisms of attraction in evangelical churches and expulsion of religions Afro-Brazilian religions, and the reinterpretations that converts realize from their ancient practices and the inherited cultural tradition that is part of their social and ethnic identity. |
