Abstract: This work presents contributions to the voltage security analysis of unbalanced distribution systems, considering multiphase networks, the influence of neutral cables and grounding. Impacts of connecting star or delta loads; the impacts of the main models of static loads, considering the types of power, current and constant impedance; the impacts of mutual couplings in parallel feeders are presented, besides, a criteria to verify voltage sensitivity in unbalanced multiphase systems is also shown in this work. The multiple solutions are also investigated during the resolution of a multiphase continuous power flow and its implications on the voltage security of unbalanced electrical systems. A method is presented for the system loading with distinct steps between previously defined areas of a power grid, in order to evaluate the consequences in terms of the voltage security of the systems under study. After that, this method is expanded to an optimization of the different loading steps between the areas, with the objective to maximize the maximum loading point of the systems analyzed, through the use of the genetic algorithm technique. In the advanced studies, IEEE test systems and a reduced system are used to facilitate the understanding of the initial concepts.
