| Resumo: | A pesquisa buscou identificar os estilos de aprendizagem dos discentes do curso de Ciências Contábeis a partir do modelo de avaliação de David Kolb. As respostas sobre suas preferências foram obtidas através do instrumento desenvolvido por Kolb, conhecido como Inventário de Estilos de Aprendizagem ou Learning Style Inventory (LSI), o qual foi aplicado por vias impressas para os alunos que estavam finalizando a disciplina de Contabilidade Informatizada, no 1º semestre de 2018, na Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. A análise foi realizada com 54 alunos, sendo 21 da turma do diurno e 33 da turma do noturno, aqui denominados de turma A e turma B, respectivamente. Dentro desse grupo de alunos, 14 questionários foram invalidados (3 da turma A e 11 da turma B), uma vez que esses foram respondidos de forma errada. Portanto, a análise foi concretizada com 40 alunos. Na turma A, o resultado encontrado foi: 56% dos alunos do estilo Assimilador; 39% do estilo Convergente; 5% do estilo Divergente, e não foi encontrado nenhum aluno do estilo Acomodador nessa turma. Na turma B, o resultado é semelhante ao da turma A: 59% alunos do estilo Assimilador; 23% do estilo Convergente; e os estilos Divergente e Acomodador, representaram 9%. |
| Abstract: | The research sought to identify Accounting Sciences students learning styles from David Kolb’s evaluation model. The answers about their preferences were obtained through the instrument developed by Kolb, known as Learning Styles Inventory (LSI), which was applied by printed routes to the students who were finishing the discipline of Computerized Accounting in the 1st semester of 2018, at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. The analysis was carried out with 54 students, being 21 of the daytime class and 33 of the night class, here called class A and class B, respectively. Within this group of students, 14 questionnaires were invalidated (3 from class A and 11 from class B), since these were answered in the wrong way. Therefore, the analysis was carried out with 40 students. In class A, the result found was: 56% of the students of the Assimilator style; 39% of the Convergent style; 5% of the Divergent style, and no Accommodator style students were found in this class. In class B, the result is similar to that of class A: 59% students of the Assimilator style; 23% of the Convergent style; and the Divergent and Accommodating styles accounted for 9%. |
