Abstract: The nasosinusal region exhibits a close anatomical relationship with dental structures, such that infections of dental origin, surgical procedures, and alterations of the osteomeatal complex may compromise paranasal sinus function and influence dental treatment planning. Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has become established as the imaging modality of choice for three-dimensional assessment of this region, enabling detailed identification of anatomical structures and pathological findings at a reduced radiation dose. Given the complexity involved in interpreting these images, the present study aimed to develop an atlas for the tomographic interpretation of the paranasal sinuses, nasal cavity, and osteomeatal complex based on CBCT examinations. A literature review was conducted using the PubMed and SciELO databases to provide theoretical support for atlas development. CBCT examinations were subsequently selected retrospectively from the image database of the Dental Radiology Clinic at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF/GV, Brazil). Images were analyzed using OnDemand 3D software, anonymized, and selected according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study was approved by the UFJF Research Ethics Committee. The resulting digital atlas was structured into three didactic chapters addressing the tomographic anatomy of the nasosinusal region, its main anatomical variations, and pathological alterations commonly identified on CBCT. Images were displayed in axial, coronal, and sagittal planes, accompanied by legends and anatomical annotations. The developed atlas constitutes a valuable educational resource for teaching and for the tomographic interpretation of the nasosinusal region on CBCT, potentially assisting dental students and clinicians in clinical planning and in the recognition of anatomical structures, morphological variations, and pathological alterations.
