O cinema de Marcos Pimentel: da trajetória pessoal ao documentário Sopro

Abstract

The present work intends to approach the filmmaking trajectory of the documentary from Minas Gerais, Marcos Pimentel through his academic formation, the discovery of the documentary language, his process of creation and the way in which films produced throughout his career also reflect the personal moment of the filmmaker. For the development of the research, interviews were made with the director and with the technical team present in most of his films. The feature film Breath, the first of its career, will also be analyzed in this work, using interviews and audiovisual work to understand the creative process of the filmmaker.
