Estratégias da gestão escolar de enfrentamento a violência: uma análise da implementação do PROERD em uma escola da rede pública estadual do Amazonas

Abstract

Considering the phenomenon of violence permeates the issues social, economic and cultural life of contemporary society, they aim to discuss and support the actions of educational professionals with regard to address violence at school. The theme of the research is to analyze what actions the school management to face the student violence on the aggressive behavior of young people in a public school in Manaus. With a project proposed by the teaching staff and with the participation of various actors of the educational community involved in school management sought the cases of violence and to seek more effective action, with greater participation of the family and the help of PROERD. The methodological procedure for data collection was based on questionnaires with teachers and students and interviews with the school board. The analysis of the statements and answers revealed that violence is increasing in alarming numbers in recent years, reflecting in the classroom, damaging the teaching-learning process. The main causes of violence in the school context and in turn the actions that management has taken on this fact will be addressed. It was also highlighted the difficulty of teachers to work in an interdisciplinary manner, as determined NCPs when dealing with cross-cutting themes. These findings served as the subsidies for the elaboration of an Action Plan. Finally the work highlighted the importance of in-service training, as the current world requires professional skills to deal with new situations for which initial training often not prepared them. So we ope this research could contribute to actions against violence at school as a way to review the educational practice, lead to the elucidation of issues on violence and overcome the difficulties of the educational process from the analysis and reflections necessary to face violence.
