Abstract

This research aims to analyze the news syntheses published on the website of the newspaper O Globo on January 22, 2025, using artificial intelligence. Initially, the emergence of artificial intelligence and the evolution of the concept over time will be addressed. Subsequently, an overview of the use of this technology in Journalism will be outlined, observing its impacts and the ways in which it has been and is useful to the field. The main part of the research will be the analysis of the news syntheses on the digital platform of the newspaper O Globo, which are produced using a generative AI program. The primary purpose is to understand how the newspaper uses this tool and its impact to users, in addition to whether this use is in accordance with the standards of conduct for the use of artificial intelligence that the company has officially published. The methodology used will be content analysis.
