Lembranças e narrativas de professores e professoras aposentados(as): uma tessitura das relações humanas no tear do tempo

Abstract

This Master's research, linked to the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (PPGE/UFJF), has as its main objective to answer a moving question: when the teaching profession ends, what remains? The questioning gave room for this research to take place and unfold into other questions, such as: what does the teacher say about what happens when teaching ends? The work was carried out with nine retired teachers who, through narratives, brought back their time in the profession, in addition to recounting their decision to retire. In this sense, the study proposes to sew together narrative threads of life, stitching together structures arising from memories of a profession, which emphasize marks of a time and a place, whose objective is to understand what relationships are established in teaching. In the meeting between the researcher and the subjects in dialogue, the bases of this work are supported, through theoretical references and reports. The present narratives raise the scope of the relationships, as well as identifying how this encounter between the teacher took place in the present with the memories told, through words, after the teaching retirement. The work will involve an analysis of the memories woven, through observations made in the loom of time.
