Violência patrimonial nas varas de família: uma análise sobre a dependência financeira da mulher no âmbito conjugal

Abstract

This article proposes to carry out an analysis of property violence in the context of family courts, focusing on the financial dependence of women in the marital sphere and questioning the effectiveness of legal measures designed to curb this reality. Initially, a historical retrospective of women's emancipatory rights is presented, highlighting legislative evolution over time. In the second chapter, the focus is on financial dependence, detailing the various forms of property violence that directly impact women's economic autonomy. Finally, the article not only identifies the complexities of this phenomenon, but also examines strategies to promote economic balance during and after the dissolution of marital ties. In conclusion, the need for vigilance is emphasized regarding the damage caused by the inaction of the Legislature and the Judiciary in the face of situations harmful to the patrimonial autonomy of women who faced the restriction of their work capacity in affective relationships. The article calls for reflection on the need for more effective measures to protect women's rights, highlighting the importance of a proactive approach in promoting gender equality in the legal and social context.
