O Movimento feminista e a questão da perspectiva de classe: Um estudo sobre a greve internacional de mulheres de 2017 (GIM 2017).

Abstract

In the present study, we initially sought to apprehend the processes of struggle and political affirmation of the collective subject woman, aiming to give historical meaning to this apprehension. Our option was to link these processes of becoming aware of oneself and of the social relations that determine their conditions of existence, in a material and symbolic way, linked to the dynamics that build the struggles of the working class. That said, we show that we observe limits in our analysis. Limits that do not allow, in this study, to encompass historical constructions prior to the process of capitalist accumulation, where, in a differentiated way, the social relations based on other material bases took place bringing subjectivities and other relational constructions for women and their existences. In the course proposed here, we observe the dialectical process, facing a construction lived and dimensioned by survival, assumption of rights and within an economic, social and political order. In this journey, we seek the paths to think about contemporary feminist praxis and its unequivocal links with the dynamics of class struggle. Understanding the feminist movement as an important element of the anti-system struggle, we see in its praxis a fundamental theoretical contribution to the construction of critical social theory. In accordance with these propositions, we observe its affirmation process as a living movement in the social fabric. We crossed the Atlantic to try to understand that the experience of oppression and exploitation occurs in a different way and is not dissociated from the historical process in which social subjects are inserted or inserted. With this in mind, we tried to critically analyze the International Women's Strike that took place on March 8, 2017. We understand this event as an important milestone, in which the feminist movement is dialectically renewed in its first propositions, returning its look to a dispute of political and civilizing project. We have advanced in the search for an understanding of the sophisticated mechanisms of ideological domination imposed by the capitalist system and, based on this understanding, we corroborate the thesis that the feminist movement formulates to advance the degree of consciousness and class mobilization. In a more accurate way, we will stick to the construction of the International Strike of Women of Juiz de Fora in 2017. Even knowing the possible problems arising from the temporal proximity and our direct involvement with the object studied, we still propose to contribute in the formulation of material for the construction of the history of the feminist social movements of Juiz de Fora. In moments of offensive by ultraliberal capitalism, perceiving the movement of resistance of women in the defense of their rights, and in this process, raising awareness of the group as a whole seems to us fundamental to think strategies to combat the social issue, realizing the sophistication of mechanisms of ideological control of capital in the discriminatory mediations that gender and race produce within the working class.
