Desafios na implementação das diretrizes da educação do campo em uma escola estadual do leste de Minas Gerais

Abstract

This dissertation was developed within the scope of the Professional Graduate Program in Education Management and Evaluation (PPGP), of the Center for Public Policy and Educational Evaluation of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd/ UFJF). The case studied discussed the Pedagogical Political Projects (PPP) of the field schools, specifically the José Teixeira Franco State School, located in Expedicionário Alicio, a district of Aimorés/ MG. This analysis based on the current PPP, focusing on the Field Education Guidelines and the pedagogical practice of the school. The research object arises from the fact that it is dealing with a school that has a profile of a field school, but its PPP does not include such guidelines. Therefore we sought to investigate the limitations that this school faces to implement in its daily life the Education Guidelines of the Field of Minas Gerais. Since from a questionnaire answered by students with or without the help of parents, and the registration card of the students, there was a massive predominance of students directly linked to the field. Seeking to deep in the theme, I devoted to reading texts and dissertations that dealt with the field education theme to enrich my theoretical framework, and then we did a field research with interviews and questionnaires to verify the possibility of having a school of the field and for the field. Therefore, the research aims to identify and analyze the challenges that the management of José Teixeira Franco State School faces to consolidate the guidelines of the Minas Gerais field schools in its curriculum and PPP, with a view to experience the field education guidelines in the educational institution, it also sought to unveil this profile and to indicate alternatives for the implementation of the mentioned guidelines in the PPP and school curriculum, in order to ensure an education focused on the students' reality, combining quality and reality. Thus education may be an instrument for fomentation rural succession, which is the perpetuation of families of family farmers through their descendants. This research covered the management team, teachers, school professionals, and school community involved, as well as the hierarchically superior administrative departament.
