A cultura do cuidado: narrativas de reencantamento do mundo

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to capture care tones entangled in our relationships and perceptions in order to clarify the underlying human image in our worldviews and social practices. It is intended to point out how the stories we tell about ourselves change over time. As the emotion that governs human interactions changes so does a change of perception of the world and consequently a change in culture. This emotional quality also points to the goals desired by men and women in the world. As creatures and creators, we have a dialogue between our interior and our relationships, which configures us and is configured by us through what we call “reality”. This thesis proposes the elaboration of an attentive rereading of myths of origin from the Judeo-Christian era and of original peoples. Moreover, it is also proposed here to reread contemporary narratives, in which it is demonstrated that the conscience of care can weave a conception of spirituality capable of bringing to the human being the awareness that he is only one among the various beings of creation and, thus reenchant our perceptions of the world. This research is a transdisciplinary research as it seeks to encompass views of the Sciences of Religion, Anthropology, Quantum Physics, Psychology and Biology. This sets up a spiritual-ecological perspective on the relationships of the various beings with each other and with the Earth, which is called Care Culture.
