O projeto e-Jovem no estado do Ceará: perspectivas, análise e desafios

Abstract

The e-Jovem Project which is introduced by Department State for Education from Ceará since 2007, may be considered a recent proposal and therefore the researches about its functioning and consequences are still scarce. The e-jovem is a project which the proposal is integrate the professional education with different education ways and to dimensions of the labor, science and technology. It offers a complementary education in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to fresh and senior students from High School. This study has as goal the analysis of this project and its functioning, researching its perspectives and challenge, and it has as field of study the point of view of the individuals involved directly in the carrying out of the purpose, besides all the documents that based it. To that purpose we analyzed the implementation of the project in six Coordenadorias Regionais de Desenvolvimento da Educação (CREDE) and we study carefully the documents that organize the proposal. The examination of the documentary research shows us that, theoretically, the e-jovem contributes the the qualification of the young people from Ceará, as well, its itinerary formation prepares the students to labor activity. In the investigation with the students who are involved in the research we can notice that the project develops itself in a satisfactory way in some points, however it shows some obvious troubles in others, that it is necessary to be faced to not compromise the performance of the project in whole state. This way, we are recommending an education action plan that includes suggestions and guidelines to the creator and executors of the project, since the manage in SEDUC, through the regional coordinating and finally in local level, the agents responsible by the implantation in High Schools. We intend to provide with this research, a reflexion about how the e-Jovem project develops itself in the state of the Ceará, we have the hope that we can collaborate on with the strengthening of this project.
