The main objective of this work is to understand the relationship between religion and masculinity in the texts of Evangelical Blogs that have been selected to analyze their content. The aim of the research is to observe the way in which the meanings of masculinity are articulated with religion. Understanding how religion is used explicitly or implicitly in the selected texts will help to understand how the dynamics of the foundation of behaviors and ideas related to the models of masculinity that appear in the texts from the religious language and its symbols are developed. For this reason, the question that will guide the course of the present research is: what are the meanings that public-electronic discourses in evangelical Blogs convey about the masculine "ethos"? To make the research feasible in methodological terms, it will be used as the method of content analysis. From this methodology will be created categories to help in the agglutination of the texts that develop the theme that is the object of the research. The interpretation of the collected material will be given from a qualitative perspective. At that moment, the use of anthropological and sociological theories will be undertaken with the purpose of helping to better understand the dynamics of the meanings of masculinity that appear in the texts. This research will be divided into three parts. In the first part, there will be a historical presentation of two of the main Brazilian evangelical churches, namely the Assembly of God and Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. In the second part the research will take a more theoretical outline. At this point, some theories about masculinity, the challenges to research the relationship between religion and gender, and finally, researches that sought to analyze the connection between these two themes, will be presented. In the last part of the work, a qualitative analysis of the contents will be carried out through the created categories. This stage of research is more practical. In it the texts will be interpreted in the light of the anthropological and sociological theories that were presented in the second chapter of the present dissertationpt_BR
