Abstract: The research aims the discourse analysis about people´s witnesses published on the website of the NGO We Have to Talk About This, that puts in circulation senses and discourses on maternity, usually in critical perspective. For this, some basic questions have been raised: what are the conditions of production within the analyzed archive that allow these discourses to be produced? How do these discourses point to a vision so different from those who "romanticize" motherhood? What discursive formations prevail? We believe that an analysis of these texts, and their discursive processes can inform us about possible changes in the status of the family, of gender relations and in the very constitution of the meaning of what is a woman. This case study fits into the more general discussions on the symbolic destitution / restitution processes carried out in a research by Professor Dr. WedencleyAlves, within the Sensus group, which focuses on the enrollment of subjects in unrecognized discourses / socially non legitimized. A material vestige of this non-legitimation in our research is the golden rule of the anonymity, which, however, allows them to formulate other discourses about being a mother without being socially judged for it, and there they restore themselves as women of their time. We also see that the network environment is an infinite resource for the elaboration and propagation of subjectivities, that is, the network is like an atmosphere in the discursive process that models / remodels subject, language and history. This confirms for us that the case under study is particularly enriching for understanding the relations between discourse and the media.
