O técnico de enfermagem significando o trabalho do enfermeiro: contribuições para o fortalecimento da equipe em ambiente hospitalar

Abstract

Nursing was institutionalized in the nineteenth century in England, based on the actions of Florence Nightingale, precursor of scientific knowledge in nursing, an event that, given the structure of society at the time, was reflected in the social division of the profession. The nursing team became composed of nurses, technicians and nursing assistants. Currently professionals have joined efforts to search a new and independent position in the process of division of labor of the health team with which they relate. However, one can still observe and experience in the day-to-day work, the difficulty of its recognition as a profession practicing actions based on scientific knowledge, due to the permanence of a deep-rooted image of its historical trajectory. This research seeks to understand the phenomenon, which presents itself as the object of this study: The nursing technician means the work of the nurse in the team and proposes to open possibilities to the expression of the essence contained in said and unsaid, with the purpose of unveiling the nursing technician's senses about the nurse's work in the team. The research of qualitative nature, guided by the phenomenology founded the theoretical methodological thought of Martin Heidegger as possibility to achieve a description of phenomena and experiences of the individual, from the inquiries and questions about what can exist and remains veiled in everyday life Of Being. The study was carried out in a general public hospital of Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais, with 22 nursing technicians who work in the hospitalization sectors. The participants approach occurred from September to November of 2015 through interview guided by previously prepared instrument, consisting of questions that predicted the deponents historiography and build large, open questions, that by vague and Median understanding was possible understanding of the meanings and the construction of the running thread of analysis and elaboration of the concept of being. Then guided interpretive or hermeneutical understanding, which enabled the unveiling of senses of the nursing technician-being on the work of the nurse on the team that plays in the hospital environment. The nursing technician-being revealed several ways of being a professional nurse in dayto-day work as the way to be-with and be-in-the-world, and how to act in the occupation and manuality. This study contributed to bring the nurse's role to the theoretical and practical reflection and the unveiling of his day-to-day work in the hospital under the nurse technician's eye. This understanding favored the knowledge and the discussion of the actions of this professional in the accomplishment of his daily practice, bringing the possibility of realizing his professional identity, establishing him as an important member of the health team.
