| Resumo: | O presente trabalho tem como objeto de estudo a cineasta brasileira Eunice Gutman, sua carreira iniciada nos anos 1970 e sua filmografia documental. Tomando por base o documentário Mulheres: uma outra história (1988), em que Gutman dedica-se a retratar a participação feminina na política nacional, é possível construir uma análise sobre seu trabalho que vai desde os parâmetros formais até o engajamento na luta feminista, que aqui relacionamos ao pensamento da filósofa estadunidense Judith Butler. |
| Abstract: | The present work intends to study the Brazilian filmmaker Eunice Gutman, her career, which started in the 70s, and her documentary filmography. Grounded on the documentary Mulheres: uma outra história (Women: Another Story) (1988), in which Gutman portrays women's participation in national politics, it is possible to construct an analysis of her work ranging from formal parameters to the engagement in the feminist struggle, here is related to the thinking of the American philosopher Judith Butler. |
