Abstract

This article aims to present some concepts concerning Internet or surface web, which may be accessed by standard search engines; Deep Web and the difficulty to track down its users due to use of tools to protect their personnel data; the 3D print, its commercial and technological growth. Afterwards, the work mentions the costs and possibilities of a 3D printer and the easiness to purchase the equipment. Then the Defense Distributed company and its social values and policies are presented; a brief historical and technical introduction to guns laws in Brazil and in USA, regarding printing a 3D handgun. Enclosing, short comments about ethical and moral points concerning the Liberator Gun and the government control of firearms and internet.
