As interações no Orkut: um espaço para a produção da subjetividade de adolescentes?

Abstract

This work was based on by a qualitative research of a historical-cultural approach; the theories of Lev Vygotsky and Mikhail Bakhtin are the basis of this work as regards the production of the subjectivity. The research aimed to understand how the interactions between the students of the first grade of a federal public school and their friends, through discursive practices present in the relationship site Orkut, may be the producers of the subjectivity of these adolescents. A systematic observation of the researcher was noticed in the Orkut website of 10 adolescents of the second grade of this school. It was observed through the reading of the speeches written in the profiles, communities and statements of these Orkut users comprehend them, according to the bakhtiniana theory, as a style of the speech. The process of analysis was guided by the categories that Bakhtin proposes as constituents of me: “I for me”, “I for the other” and “the others for me”. And these categories have permitted a comprehensive look of the interactive movement observed by the discursive practices of the students researched, in the virtual space of Orkut that led to questions about the possible contributions for the production of subjectivity of these adolescents.
