Adesão dos meios de hospedagem ao Cadastur em Bocaina de Minas-MG.

Abstract

Tourism management is linked to the planning and regulation of the activity by the State. In this context, the Register of Tourism Service Providers (Cadastur) represents a relevant instrument for the formalization and organization of the sector. This study aimed to investigate the understanding and relationship of lodging facilities in Bocaina de Minas regarding Cadastur, as well as to identify how they perceive the advantages of registration or the reasons for non-compliance. The methodology adopted was exploratory with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through bibliographic research and the application of a structured questionnaire to hotel service providers in the municipality, ensuring their anonymity. The results indicate that, although some entrepreneurs are aware of Cadastur, there is still low adherence to the system, mainly associated with a lack of information regarding its mandatory nature and low recognition of its benefits. It is concluded that outreach, guidance, and training actions can contribute to increasing adherence to Cadastur and strengthening the structure of tourism in the municipality, promoting greater formalization of the services offered.
