Iberismo em trânsito: imagens de Espanha na poesia de César Vallejo, Pablo Neruda, Murilo Mendes e João Cabral de Melo Neto

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the poetic works of four Latin Americans, Pablo Neruda, Cesar Vallejo, Murilo Mendes and João Cabral de Melo Neto. These poets had written from its experiences in a specific foreign space - Spain. Starting from the idea that the iberism is a malleable cultural tessitura, we analyze in its workmanships on Spain elements of representative images that can constitute an inverted perspective, as locus of enunciation if displaced. Spain, historically regarded as Another one in relation to Latin America, becomes the temporary home of these poets, who, from this experience abroad, house the archive of the iberismo in its workmanships. As archive, the iberism is renewed constantly, becoming, therefore, a question of always.
