A formação do indivíduo como ser estranhado da era do capital: uma leitura de Marx a partir dos Grundrisse

Abstract

The present thesis aims to investigate the category of individual inMarx’sGrundrisse, and its process of formation, referred to as individuation. Tothisend, weundertake a rigorous analysis of this text and an immanent reading, examiningtheauthor’s thoughts on its own terms. In other words, we present passages that proveour text’s understanding. In our investigation, it became necessary to discussanothercategory, estrangement (Entfremdung), as part of the individuation process, likea“strange power”. So, we conduct our examination of the Grundrisse pursuingbothcategories. Another aim in our study was to compare the first book withMarx’sCapital, specifically chapters one and two, because they address thesamecategories development that are presented in the first half of the Grundrisse. Inthelast chapter, we discuss the categories previously mentioned with somerespectedresearchers in our field, incorporating their comments and contributionstoourreflection. In conclusion, we propose a discussion about the evidence wepresentedabout the development of individuation in the first half of Grundrisse, highlightingtheimportance of the estrangement in this process. Another question was thecategorical development between both books, which Marx had refined in his studies.
