Práticas artísticas de intervenções urbanas: a experiência locativa de Habita-me se em ti transito

Abstract

Increasingly we experience the city through mobile digital device interface, so the urban space is intensely crossed by infocommunicative content (LEMOS, 2008) by means of ubiquitous digital technologies such as wireless networks, social networks, surveillance technologies, LBT and LBS, augmented reality, GPS navigation, sensors as well as the emergence of the "internet of things" and the "big" and open date. In this sense, the research addresses the forms of appropriation of urban space from the digital locative media, permitted with mobile technologies (gadgets with access to wi-fi). The analysis is on the process of intervention in the urban space through locative videos from “Habita-me se em ti transito” and other works that are focused on the urban criticism. Critical practices are focused on the urban space itself, works dealing with the relationship of the body and the city and those who have the city as creating support. The main points investigated are the body (subject, passers, gadgtes users, the performer artist), mobility (nomadism and digital content on mobile devices), the place (city, territory and geolocation) and infocommunicative content (LEMOS, 2008) arranged in particular geo spaces. It is also highlights the aesthetic dimension, political, cultural and social urban artistic interventions, performing, thus, an overview starting from the eighteenth century to the contemporary, thinking in the forms of appropriation of urban space in art. The main object of analysis is based on the experience report of the creative process of “Habita-me se em ti transito” (locative), composed of locative videos reconfigured from a short documentary of 21‟47” and available (through qrcodes) in places where the movie was recorded, spread over three squares of Juiz de Fora centre (MG). This research is a bibliographic, documentary and practice, the latter, the practical project, is the object of analysis.
