| Resumo: | O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso propõe um entendimento das definições do fetichismo e da cultura BDSM para estabelecer sua relação com a moda. Isso será feito através da identificação na história da moda fetichista e dos aspectos importantes para a construção da estética sadomasoquista. A incorporação desta figura, sinônimo de sensualidade e poder, deriva da moda fetichista. Suas diversas interpretações no mercado e na mídia resultam no crescimento desse tema, sendo usado no universo da moda como uma tendência por alguns estilistas em suas marcas. Para trazer as possibilidades que há na moda fetichista, foi desenvolvida a coleção de acessórios intitulada “Love and Pain” (do português, amor e dor), a fim de explorar esses dois sentimentos associados ao BDSM. Essa coleção nos convida a resgatar esses símbolos, colocando o propósito de traduzir a moda fetichista, tanto na coleção de acessórios quanto no editorial de moda elaborado, que materializa a narrativa construída e que une desta maneira, a teoria e a prática. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to present a understanding of the definitions of fetishism and BDSM culture to establish their relationship with fashion. This will be done by identifying the history of fetish fashion and the important aspects for the construction of sadomasochistic aesthetics. The incorporation of this figure. That portrays sensuality and power, derives from fetish fashion. Its diverse interpretations in the market and in the media result in the growth of this style, being used in the fashion world as a trend by some designers in their brands. To bring out the possibilities that exist in fetish fashion, the collection of accessories entitled “Love and Pain” was developed in order to explore these two feelings associated with BDSM. This collection invites us to rescue these symbols, with the aim of translating fetish fashion, both in the collection of accessories and in the elaborated fashion editorial, which materializes the constructed narrative and which unites theory and practice in this way. |
