| Resumo: | A presente pesquisa analisa as representações de personalidades e acontecimentos históricos, tanto na moda quanto na política estadunidense, explicitadas no videoclipe da música “National Anthem”, interpretada pela cantora norte-americana Lana Del Rey. O presente trabalho busca, através da análise fílmica do videoclipe, elucidar como Lana Del Rey e Anthony Mandler, juntos à sua equipe, foram capazes de traduzir a narrativa musical da canção de 2012 em vídeo, por meio da revisitação histórica. A pesquisa contempla também uma análise crítica interpretativa da produção e seu figurino e os possíveis diálogos com a década de 1960, no contexto norte-americano, que podem ser observados. |
| Abstract: | The present research examines the representations of personalities and historical events, both in fashion and American politics, as depicted in the music video for the song “National Anthem”, performed by the American singer Lana Del Rey. This study aims, through filmic analysis of the music video, to elucidate how Lana Del Rey and Anthony Mandler, along with their team, were able to translate the musical narrative of the 2012 song into video format through historical revisitation. The research also includes a critical interpretive analysis of the production and its costumes, as well as the potential dialogues with the 1960s in the American context that can be observed. |
