Ludicidade tátil: a literatura infantil para crianças com deficiência visual

Abstract

Reflecting on the lack of resources and discussions about children's literature for students with disabilities, I decided to produce a literary book aimed at children with visual impairment or blindness, in order to provide an experience that simultaneously addresses the physical world and the imaginary world. The discussions provided in the classes of “Cartography with children and schoolchildren” and the trip made as fieldwork for the subject to the Benjamin Constant Institute, both taught by the professor and advisor of this work, Jader Janer, were indispensable for the production of this work. The book includes the transcription of the text into the Braille System and tactile materials made to represent instruments that appear in the story.
