O conceito de real em Lacan: de Das Ding ao objeto a

Abstract

The present dissertation has as its main objective the study of the concept of real in Lacanian theory, focusing on the year in which the author dedicated himself to deepening the elaboration of this concept. Our analysis will therefore start from Seminar 7, entitled The Ethics of Psychoanalysis 1959–1960, where the author dedicates himself to studying the issue of ethics based on the real of the psychoanalytic experience. Although the concept appears in previous texts of Lacan's work, it is from this seminar that the author dedicates himself more to the concept of the real. The relationship between the concept of the real and the original lack of the subject will also be studied based on the notion of das Ding, also present in Seminar 7, and the concept of object a elaborated by Lacan in Seminar 10, The Anguish of 1962–1963. The real is part of the Lacanian triad R.S.I., so, when necessary, it will be articulated with the other two registers that compose it, that is, the symbolic and the imaginary. For this, primary and secondary authors will be used to promote a discussion between the aforementioned concepts. From his study of the real, Lacan will present that the ethics of psychoanalysis is the desire of the individual with whom we deal daily in analytical practice and that anguish is a sign of the real, a sign that is pointed out to us from the subject's relationship with the object of your desire. Subsequently, the author will address the objects desirable by the subject based on the new concept developed by him, that is, object a, which will be named as the object of desire.
