Fazendo uma coisa que se faz na vida autonarrativas e deslocamentos críticos em poéticas audiovisuais

Abstract

Two audiovisual works will be discussed in this dissertation: Nhemongueta Kunhã Mbaraete (2020), by Michele Kaiowá, Graciela Guarani, Patrícia Ferreira Pará Yxapy and Sophia Pinheiro, and Pontes sobre abismos (2017), by Aline Motta. The interest in these works lies in the focus on counter-narratives that reenact the colonial world, providing a space for reflections on epistemology, writing, artistic praxis and the refusal of transparency in an elaboration in art that is born from life. Thus, we seek to think about how these works can reposition the debate around self-narrative, languages and ways of reading and correspondence, by suggesting a deep communication that takes place beyond any distance. With this intention, the text is composed of three moments: i) discussion around the concepts of autobiography (Philippe Lejeune), autofiction (Serge Doubrowsky) and escrevivência (Conceição Evaristo); ii) presentation of an onto-epistemological debate based on the notion of self-representation and the theories of philosopher and artist Denise Ferreira da Silva; and iii) an attempt to redesign conversations through writing letters and essays, in order to outline a space for experimentation to interrogate some of the reflections elaborated in the previous chapters.
