| Resumo: | Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender a influência dos streamings no Brasil, estudando como eles foram capazes de alterar o modo de consumir o audiovisual pela população, o seu impacto nas produtoras tradicionais e se foi positivo para o mercado audiovisual brasileiro. O estudo terá como foco a plataforma de streaming Netflix, por ser a primeira a chegar em território nacional, e a Globoplay, por ser o primeiro streaming propriamente brasileiro e que precisou se adequar a este novo modo de consumo, visto que a Rede Globo de Televisão sempre foi hegemônica no país. Based on analyzes regarding television, both open and subscription, and the habit of continuing to go to the cinema and the reach that these platforms have, along with COVID-19 and how it affected production and consumption, it will be possible to have a understanding of the influence of streaming in Brazil. |
| Abstract: | This study aims to comprehend the influence of streamings in Brazil, studying how they were able to change the way the population consumes audiovisual, its impact on traditional producers and whether it was positive for the Brazilian audiovisual market. The study will focus on Netflix streaming platform, for being the first to arrive in the national territory, and Globoplay, for been the first Brazilian streaming service and which had to adapt to this new mode of consumption, since Globo Television Network has always been hegemonic in the country. From the analysis referring to television, both open and pay, and the habit of continuing to go to the cinema, including the reach level that these platforms have, in addition to how the covid has affected and its impacts on productions and consumption, it will be possible to have a better understanding of the many aspects that influences the streaming in Brazil. |
