| Resumo: | O presente trabalho visa pesquisar sobre o Expressionismo Alemão, movimento do início do século XX, que influenciou o campo das artes, música, literatura, teatro e cinema. No intuito de discutir sobre a reverberação do movimento na indústria cinematografia, esta pesquisa priorizou por estudar o recorte do campo da pintura e cinema, explicitando principais características e acontecimentos importantes. Como embasamento histórico e teórico, relata a trajetória dos grupos Die Blaue Reiter e Die Brücke, assim como o surgimento do cinema na Alemanha e seus desdobramentos. Como objeto de análise, foram utilizados o filme O Gabinete do Dr. Caligari (1920) e obras pintadas por artistas expressionistas, concluídas até o final dos anos 1920. Por fim, é mostrado um recorte de filmes e videoclipes, os quais possuem elementos que associam-se ao Expressionismo Alemão, sendo assim, este estudo tende a enfatizar a importância e influência exercida pelo movimento, através de analises e comparações, sendo elas pictóricas ou temáticas. |
| Abstract: | The present work aims to research German Expressionism, a movement from the beginning of the 20th century, which influenced the field of arts, music, literature, theater, and cinema. To discuss the reverberation of the movement in the cinematography industry, this research prioritized studying the field of painting and cinema, explaining the main characteristics and important events. As a historical and theoretical basis, it reports the trajectory of the Die Blaue Reiter and Die Brücke groups, as well as the emergence of cinema in Germany and its development. As an object of analysis, the movie The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) and works painted by expressionist artists, completed by the end of the 1920s. Finally, a clipping of films and video clips is shown, which have elements associated to German Expressionism, therefore, this study tends to emphasize the importance and influence exercised by the movement, through analyzes and comparisons, whether pictorial or thematic |
