O lugar dos sujeitos da assistência social na produção de conhecimento do Serviço Social

Abstract

This work is dedicated to the analysis of the academic productions of Social Work that approach the perspective of the social subjects about the politics of social assistance. The interest in developing this theme starts from a professional career conducted in the area of social assistance for over a decade and since the implementation of the Unifi ed Social Assistance System (SUAS) in the city of Juiz de Fora in 2006. Thus, anchored in the intervention professional practice with the Reference Center for Social Assistance (CRAS) São Pedro supports the concern brought about by this study: this concern s my perception that the actions developed by CRAS do not, in fact, provide real knowledge of families attended by these social subjects, in order to understand what really interests them when accessing social assistance services. Therefore, our purpose is to try to understand if these social subjects, in fact, are known to those who study this social policy beyond what is constitutionally secured and regulated in the National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS). This requires from the authors, here investigate d, an intentionality that can extrapolate the analyzes, planning and evaluations performed by managers, technicians, consultants and many other policy scholars on the best way to respond the demands of these users, the subordinate classes.
