| Resumo: | A presente dissertação de mestrado tem por objetivo refletir sobre o samba enquanto ferramenta de contestação do segregacionismo e da subordinação da mulher ao homem, os quais são estabelecidos pela sociedade patriarcal e androcêntrica brasileira. A partir da análise de canções de autoria das sambistas Dona Ivone Lara e Teresa Cristina, à luz do arcabouço teórico pesquisado, buscamos entender sobre o que a mulher compositora de samba escreve, como as letras de suas canções refletem acerca da mulher, da sociedade na qual ela está inserida e sobre como essa mulher vê a si mesma, seu corpo, suas relações, seus desejos e seus anseios |
| Abstract: | This work aims to reflect on samba as a tool for contesting the segregationism and subordination of women to men established by Brazilian patriarchal and androcentric society. From the analysis of songs authored by samba songwriters such as Dona Ivone Lara and Teresa Cristina in the light of the researched theoretical texts, we seek to understand what the samba lyrics authoress writes about, how the lyrics of her songs reflect about the woman, the society in which she lives and how this woman sees herself, her body, her relationships and her desires. |
