Bacia semântica e o trajeto educativo de uma comunidade negra rural: narrativas da Colônia de São Firmino, no município de Ewbanck da Câmara, Minas Gerais

Abstract

This present work is based on the black rural community called Colônia de São Firmino, located in the municipality of Ewbanck da Câmara, in the forest area or would be better to write Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais. It isintendedto understand how the educational processes within this community are developed and preserved between the generations. In the first part it historicizes the appearance of the term Quilombo and the discussion of this thematic in the contemporaneity. As a theoretical reference, the imaginary, defended by Gilbert Durand (2012), is used as the set of images and relations of images that comstitute the thought capital of "homo sapiens", appearing as the great fundamental denominator where all the procedures of the human spirit come to be arranged. This is a qualitative research, therefore the methodology used in the development of the work is participant observation, documentary, textual, icnographic, audiovisual and use of open interviews using the snowball technique. Finally, in the third partis presented the field work that had the participation of ten residents (six men and four women), whom by revisiting their imaginary allowed us to conclude the presence of elements intrinsic to the night regime, which make up the mystical structure of the imaginary, being recognized as the symbols of intimacy: the tomb and the rest, the dwelling and the cup, food and substance. In addition, respondents demonstrated respect for the values of civilization and memory of their ancestors, saying that they learned a lot from their elders, they also emphasized belief in God and the importance of the sacred in their lives.
