Além dos muros dos terreiros: relacionalidade, corporificação e cuidado na ética do Candomblé

Abstract

This work is an ethnographic and theoretical research on ethics in candomblé. The research took over as point of departure the existence not only of an ethic in the terrace, but also with in the wider society. Initially, in the first chapter, we bring an overview of the discussion about the topic of ethics in candomblé: on the one hand, the authors who believe that the candomblé is an un-ethics religion and, on the other hand, authors who defend he is a ethics religion. Later, in the second chapter, we present theories and authors who subsidized our field research. Finally, in the third chapter, it’s made a description of our Ethnography about the existence of everyday ethics in candomblé. It appears to be an ethic of care and responsibility in candomblé, which has as its foundation the axé and the cycle of the donation; and argues that the ethics is embedded by supporters in your religious experience and that is activate, in everyday life, "beyond the walls of the terraces".
