A diversidade na formalização: análise da resposta organizacional dos produtores de cachaça de Minas Gerais a partir do marco legal do setor

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to analyze the implementation of the legal framework established by the Brazilian State in the organizational field of cachaça in Minas Gerais, focusing on the case of the Salinas microregion. To this end, we mobilize a theoretical framework based on the contributions of economic sociology in the debate on the interaction between economic agents and the State, in this case we analyze this process through a historical series that demonstrates the participation of a portion of actors in the cachaça production chain. in the construction of a new institutional reality, as we found out, these actors mobilized their resources (social, cultural, economic and symbolic capital) together with other representative entities (public/private) in the search for establishing a quality standard established in the State dimension, which ended up reflecting on the position of these groups within the sector and on the organizational dynamics of cachaça production in Minas Gerais and Brazil.
